http://metadata.digitalnz.org/ down, workarounds for checking metadata quality

 http://metadata.digitalnz.org/ is down, as NLNZ build their new dashboard. Below is a quick workaround for those of you who, like me, used it to check your metadata from an external point of view.

Basically you can do the same checks by constructing URLs into the man collection. I'm interested in the "VUW ResearchArchive" collection and a handful of metadata fields (check the HTML meta tags for their names) so I end up with:

http://www.digitalnz.org/records?i[display_collection]=VUW+ResearchArchive&i[sort_title]=nil

http://www.digitalnz.org/records?i[display_collection]=VUW+ResearchArchive&i[subject]=nil

http://www.digitalnz.org/records?i[display_collection]=VUW+ResearchArchive&i[language]=nil

These will return records in the given collection which LACK the given metadata field.
