API change from 23 May?

Hi:

Sometime on or about May 23 searches through the API for *:* (i.e. a
wildcard query returning all records) stopped working.

Obviously, this is Not Cool.

As far as I can tell, a query for text:[* TO *] returns the same
results, but is a lot uglier
(and trickier to encode, in code, try text:[*%20TO%20*] as that is all
that works for me).

Will DigitalNZ change this back? Alternatively, will vDigitalNZ update
the documentation which still refers to *:*.

HI Gordon,

I will update the v2 documentation over the weekend -- I thought I had caught everything but I missed that. 

I will publish the v3 docs at the start of next week.
