Right then, what are you using for RSS feeds now that Google's killed Reader?

I've got NetNewsWire (the free version from the App Store) running on my Mac and it's a great bit of software. No sync to anything anywhere, so I'm just living with feeds there and getting by without them on the web/phone/everywhere. Which is exactly what I used to do before Reader came along. It's not really a big deal.

It's sort-of like Google Reader - close enough for me anyway. You can even import your feeds directly from Reader, if you like.

Cheers,

Hey old guy

So, I'm paying for https://feedbin.me/ for the time being, $2 a month.

I have Reeder on my iPhone. I also have Reeder on iPad and desktop BUT AFAIK they haven't done what they say they're going to do and add Feedbin support for this yet. SO I am currently using ReadKit (http://readkitapp.com/) on my Mac which syncs with Feedbin, and Mr Reader (http://www.curioustimes.de/mrreader/) on my iPad which does the same.

I have to say although I was an avid Reeder fan, I'm loving both of these bits of software very much and may well stick with them even when/if Reeder get their finger out on OSX/iPad.

The only question mark in the equation right now is paying for Feedbin - I'm quite tempted by The Old Reader but am feeling a bit burnt by The Demise Of Yet Another Free Service - so happy to stump up for now.

cheers

Older Guy

Feedly for me too; it syncs, and I've been using the web-app as well as iOS and Android.

I've got a feeling (correct me if I'm wrong) that Feedly doesn't have the option to export feeds. So once you're in, you're in. Personally I'm not comfortable with that…

You can do it today, though it's a bit manual:

I've been using feedly since the first Reader announcement, and am
pretty happy with it so far.

Feedly. They moved everything for me, barely noticed Reader's demise.

Did I see a rumour Facebook are looking at RSS integration? I'm already confused :-S

I'm using Feedly because the import from Reader was very simple, but because Feedly can't be used offline I'm using Byline on the iPad and that is sync'd to Feedly. Used to use Reeder but they haven't managed to do what they promised in time and my sync on that App has been lost. User error no doubt.
