Place-branding/Phase 1 Website Tender Opportunity, Roath Basin

Hi there

This space has (obviously) been very quiet but there's quite a lot
going on just now down in Butetown feeding off our activity last year
and looking to a next phase. Will keep you up to date, just as and
when it all solidifies/not. For the moment, take no news as good news.
(!)

Construction of what's known as the BBC Production Village has now
commenced on a large site to the south of Butetown and I wanted to
advise you that a tender opportunity has just been issued for place-
branding and a first website design contract linked to the marketing
of the site.

The web component doesn't in the first instance link to what we
discussed but it is the first digital footprint for the development
site in the area, a space which in time may well engage with the
community, BBC, the next stage of this project. (far from dead, btw.
Am currently writing with Gavin of Community Helps Itself an outline
social enterprise linked to digital media skills and creative
production which is what he would like to see grow and prosper and act
as a trigger to broader creative activity).
