Hello DAT Vancouver,

OpenMedia.ca is helping to organize a forum on Wednesday, July 27th, at the SFU Centre for Dialogue on Stop Online Spying. Please see the invitation below and share this widely. We'd love to see you there!

Help us build a non-partisan, broadly based movement of Canadians to Stop Online Spying.  We invite you to join us on July 27th, 1:30 to 5:30 pm for the Stop Online Spying Forum, SFU Vancouver.

The aim of this event is to bring a wide range of participants together to focus on the human impact of online spying, deepen their relationships with each other, and organize for long term collaboration.

Our emphasis is on diversity, and we would welcome your help in bringing into this event civil society organizations, faith communities, service providers, industry and everyone else committed to protecting the  freedom to communicate.  This is a non-partisan event, but parliamentarians (sitting and retired) of all parties are welcome to join us.

The event is free, but you have to reserve your seat at the forum's website: www.stoponlinespying.com.
