Hi Vancouver Digital Action Team! I just wanted to say that I think yesterday went really well. We haven't processed the signatures yet, but it's clear we reached a lot of people yesterday. I also had a bunch of fun and really enjoyed getting to know many of you - Steamworks was good times. Lets do something like this again sometime soon.
- I also want to thank everyone who made it to the brainstorming meeting, and who have been helping spread the word online - this is about everyone chipping in where they can, every bit helps.
We're also getting positive reports from other cities as well - you can see some pictures rolling in on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/openmedia.ca
- we haven't processed signatures yet, but our petition count has spiked since yesterday - presumably from flyers etc... The Day of Action activities definitely created some momentum.
We are trying to collect photos from Vancouver for a post today, so if you have any please email to me (st...@openmedia.ca), and/or share them with this group, or post our Facebook page.

- special thanks to Chris - he's been pushing to have some local Vancouver action for a solid month + - we've been overwhelmed, and it helped to have Chris pushing this along.
