Hey Vancouver,

OpenMedia.ca is currently looking at ways to help make open, competitive and affordable Internet a Federal election issue. We'd like to invite you to join us for a Digital Action Team - Vancouver Federal Election Strategy meeting this coming Tuesday, April 5th @7:00pm.

Where: Woodwards Building, 2nd Floor. 111 W Hastings, Vancouver.

Why: To discuss strategies and actions which will help make open Internet a Federal election issue.

With your help, we’ve forced the CRTC to reconsider its past billing decisions, forced Bell Canada to backtrack, and opened the CRTC’s closed-door meetings to the public. Just imagine what we can accomplish during this Federal election!

Agenda:
1) Introductions.
2) Update on the Stop The Meter Campaign & CRTC Meeting in Ottawa by Steve Anderson, OpenMedia.ca founder.
3) Update on Federal Election Strategy to date by Glyn Lewis, OM Digital Action Coordinator.
4) Roundtable discussion and strategy session on local and national actions to help make open Internet a Federal election issue.
5) A Leading-Edge Approach to Canada's Digital Future: OpenMedia's vision for the future of the open Internet in Canada. Discussion.
6) Adjourn.

For the Internet,

- The OpenMedia.ca Team
