Join a small, elite "anti-hacker" software team protecting valuable
content. Spend your day reverse engineering code and devising puzzles
to stump the bad guys. Sound fun? If you are an expert at reverse
engineering, and live near (or could move to) San Francisco, please
contact me or send your resume to me at: mi...@informativepeople.com,
or call me at: 925-833-8714x160. I have met this team and I was VERY
impressed. I have more details and will look forward to talking with
you. Thanks! Minda

I wish I knew why the term 'hacker' has such a terrible stereotype.
Hey old folks in the group- Is this like how squares and some of our
parents treated greasers/long-haired freaky people in the 50's and
60's?

150K sounds ok to me you can call anything you like for that. As far
as the word 'hacker' goes ... Hackers don't break systems.
The systems are already broken. Until we devise perfect systems we
will have hackers finding the vulnerabilities and exploiting
them. Good or bad is dependent on your point of view. Now an 'anti-
hacker' would have to be a hacker themselves wouldn't they?
What would the anti-anti-hacker be? Try imagining a scenario where an
attack is countered by an IPS that happens to have a
vulnerability. Anyone remember the old snort DCE/RPC preprocessor
vulnerability? Perhaps this job is developing honeypots?
Anyone looking to move to the west coast?

San Fran has a higher cost of living than DC, similar to Hawaii's
rates. I have more to say, but someone just irc'd me on a bbs using
QModem. I will be putting on some futuristic clothes/leather jacket/
trenchcoat and fedora, spike my hair, h@x0r some honest people out of
their life savings, and make out with Angelina Jolie. If I can ever
get out of mom's basement. LOL
