This email is an invitation to participate in the DLF Assessment Interest Group’s (DLF AIG) working group on Content Reuse in 2026. There is more information about the group below, but first, a few words about participating in DLF AIG.

The only requirement for participation in a DLF AIG working group is a willingness to dig in and devote a small part of your time contributing to the tools, methods, and body of knowledge on digital library assessment. Attendance at the DLF forum is not a requirement for participation in any of the working groups. Additionally, if your institution is not a DLF member, you can still participate.

Content Reuse in 2026
The Working Group is currently investigating new topics and projects – so this is the perfect time to join in on our work!

The group’s overall purpose is to research, develop, and/or deploy recommended practices for digital content reuse in galleries, libraries, archives, museums, repositories, and other cultural heritage organizations.

In 2025 the Working Group focused on publishing “Measuring the Impact of Digital Collections: Digital Content Reuse Assessment Framework Toolkit,” in the December 2025 issue of Information Technology and Libraries.

Content Reuse Working Group Goals for 2026
The group is currently exploring new projects that focus on digital content reuse assessment. We welcome all to join our group.

How can you participate?
Individuals who would like to join the Content Reuse Working Group should reach out to Santi Thompson (sath...@central.uh.edu).

The group will invite interested individuals to join a future Content Reuse Working Group meeting, where we will begin planning for the next Working Group project.

For questions about the larger DLF Assessment Interest Group, contact the DLF AIG leader, Kate Flynn k...@uic.edu

Thank you for participating in the DLF AIG!
