Hi Folks,

I'm Kate Thornhill, Repository Community Librarian at Oregon Health & Science University, and I will be overseeing the AIG User & Usability Studies Guidelines & Best Practices working group's facilitation for the coming year.

I am looking to get everyone together at some point in December to discuss our working group and follow-up on the great conversation had during our DLF working lunch meeting. Everyone came with awesome ideas and insight about the work the User & Usability Guidelines & Best Practices team has done and/or could be doing to support digital library user identification and behaviors, system usability, accessibility, and learnability. We should totally keep that momentum going into 2017.

Here's the minutes from the working lunch for those who would like to reviewhttps://docs.google.com/document/d/1soyvLR6YMAFzKnlzicYts-h7Ne4uFZ6WB7MBXungr-s/edit?usp=sharing

Here's a Doodle Poll to fill out:

Agenda is in a Google Doc. Please contribute other discussion items: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17SMXtpqiICiXcnH7Xh4cZ9Zp89-eHUkpfoDhoQmqnvI/edit?usp=sharing

Once we have a date and time confirmed I'll forward the official meeting details and push it out to other DLF channels. Most likely we will use Google Hangout. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

Cheers,

Kate
