__With apologies for cross posting!__

Hello everyone,

The EOSC EDEN project, an EU-funded initiative, is pleased to continue its webinar series by sharing key insights from our work on advancing long-term digital preservation strategies across Europe.

In this second EOSC EDEN webinar, we will present results from our ongoing work on identifying discipline-specific requirements and needs for long-term data preservation across different scientific domains and data types. Drawing on user journeys and empirical data collected during the first year of the project, we will highlight the strategies, tools, and approaches used to capture user perspectives and translate them into actionable insights.

This webinar is particularly relevant for participants who wish to:

  • Better understand user needs and pain points related to long-term preservation
  • Explore discipline-specific perspectives on data preservation challenges
  • Improve repository and curation practices by reusing, building on, or providing feedback on EOSC EDEN outputs

If you are interested in user-centred approaches to long-term preservation and would like to learn more about EOSC EDEN’s latest work, we warmly invite you to join us on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, 15:00–16:00 CET.
