Not sure if this particular topic is worth starting a discussion but I thought I'd just give it a shot.
The Visitors web metric and Active Users app metric are now unified under the same name, Users. And, Visits are now referred to as Sessions everywhere in all of Google Analytics.

The official docs on this add to the confusion because all of the images still refer to "visits" instead of "sessions":
Nevertheless, this page is still useful as it explains that 30 minutes is the default session time for GA and that you can modify this if necessary.
