Hi all,
Tech talk webinars on library collections, Indigenous Knowledge, artificial intelligence and creative hacking: 9 April, 16 April and 30 April
In 2021 the VALA Tech camp is being run largely online, which gives us great opportunities to participate without travelling. This annual event is a regular tech skills opportunity for those who work with library collections, and is accompanied by a range of thought provoking and practical talks. The University of Adelaide Library will be streaming the interesting series of free, online, lunchtime talks in the Ira Raymond Room on Fridays during April as part of our DH Lab programming. With topics including Indigenous knowledge management, artificial intelligence in relation to library and cultural collections, and creative use of technologies with those collections, there are presentations here to interest everyone. All welcome, but please register with Eventbrite so we can keep our numbers COVID safe.
Register at Eventbrite if you’re attending on site. If you are not near Adelaide Uni on that day, do not fear, you can join but will need to register directly with VALA (click the link to find the details).

Thanks For Sharing Alexis!
The program of free talks is amazing, I’ll be watching as many as I can.
Registrations are also still open for the paid hands on workshops: full program here 😊
