The next in the University of Adelaide Library’s Digital Humanities Lab events is fast approaching

 

DH Lab: Learning and engaging in gaming and interactive environments

Tuesday 6 September, 10:30am ACST/ 11:00am AEST, online, all welcome, registration essential

In this webinar we’ll hear from two researchers exploring gaming and interactive environments, and how we learn, engage and think about history in those spaces.

Tamika Glouftsis, University of Adelaide School of Humanities, will share her research around critical historical thinking through interactivity, and Dr Rhett Loban, Macquarie University School of Education, will discuss his experience designing Torres Strait VR and modding existing grand strategy game environments and the learning and engagement opportunities and challenges involved.
