Dear Colleagues,

I invite you to register for an upcoming series of short showcase events to raise awareness of the various digital approaches and tools that humanities, arts and social sciences (HASS) researchers could be using and how they have been applied to address specific research questions. This initiative is the result of feedback from those who attended the three day Digital Humanities event in Oct 2020.

These events are hosted by FAVeR (Federation for the Advancement of Victorian eResearch), with the objective of enabling HASS researchers to better utilise digital technologies and approaches in their research. The showcase events will be followed in the subsequent weeks with workshops on how to use the tools. The first two events are:

Two engaging short presentations from:

Two hour workshop by Sara King (AARNET) is targeted at those who are absolute beginners or ‘tech-curious’, especially those in the humanities, arts and social science disciplines.

These are FREE online events, but registration is essential.

Further information on the full program can be accessed at: http://faver.edu.au/events/

Please circulate this amongst your networks.

Regards,

Christopher
