I make physical things (printed circuit boards) with digital tools
(Eagle, etc.). Does that count?

Sure. I don't see why not. Its just about designing (pcb, items,
software, etc), and sharing it.
It's more a what you do with it, and not an exclusive club of
highflyers.

I'm into PCB design too... I've been wanting to automate the PCB
cutting and drilling too - I think that counts as DD too.

I'm hopefully going to put something together with a dremel and servos
for X, Y and up down.

That sounds like a CNC router, which would be great for circuit boards
but capable of much more as well. Plans, building advice etc for
routers can be found at http://buildyourcnc.com and
http://www.cnczone.com

Regards,
Darryl.
