RDA-US is launching a new funded opportunity for US-based participants who want to engage more deeply with the Research Data Alliance (RDA) and use it to advance their work, projects, and international collaborations. This cohort is designed for people who are ready to move from observing RDA to actively contributing through RDA Working Groups (WGs) and Interest Groups (IGs), and by building relationships across the global research infrastructure community.

What the cohort includes
Travel support to Washington, DC (March 17-18, 2026) and London (October 6-8, 2026)
Structured, in-person engagement at key RDA moments

• Support in developing a community engagement plan and contribution pathway
• Connections with experienced RDA community members

Who should apply
Anyone based in the U.S.

• Prior RDA experience not required
• Early-career encouraged (but not required)
• Applicants should be motivated to engage and contribute meaningfully
