The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) is excited to announce a new program of targeted activities through its DPC Supporter Program, designed to strengthen connections and foster ongoing dialogue between DPC Members and the wider community of digital preservation providers.
The refreshed program brings new opportunities for collaboration, visibility and global impact and includes:
  • Broader reach: Our dedicated Supporter Showcase will now be open to the entire digital preservation community, extending visibility and engagement beyond DPC Members.
  • Enhanced events: Alongside the DPC Members Fora, new day-long sessions open to Supporters will offer opportunities for exhibition, program participation, and regional networking. Confirmed locations include New York (April 2026) and Edinburgh (May 2026).
  • Global impact: Supporter contributions will fund a new Research & Development initiative and a program to support participation from low- and middle-income countries, alongside continued support for the Digital Preservation Awards.

“With expanded access, new global events and targeted funding initiatives, the DPC Supporter Program is evolving into a powerful platform for connection, collaboration, and community-wide impact in digital preservation.”
Sarah Middleton, Chief Community Officer, DPC
The program is open to any provider of digital preservation services, solutions, tools, or consultancy which has an established relationship with the digital preservation community. The program also offers a tiered structure which is designed to enable providers of all types, sizes and maturity to access and benefit from opportunities to connect with the DPC membership.
The DPC is an international charitable foundation which supports digital preservation, helping its members around the world to deliver resilient long-term access to digital content and services through community engagement, targeted advocacy work, training and workforce development, capacity building, good practice and standards, and through good management and governance. Its vision is a secure digital legacy.
