One of New Zealand’s most iconic birds, the Tūī is known for its beautiful, complex song and iridescent plumage. Tūī represents the harmony between the natural and digital worlds—a symbol of the interconnectedness we aim to preserve in the digital space and serves as the inspiration behind the iPRES 2025 logo.
As a global charitable foundation with members spanning six continents, the DPC’s support for iPRES 2025 reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering international connectedness, as well as collaboration, knowledge exchange and community-building in digital preservation. The conference provides a vital platform for anyone with an interest in digital preservation to share insights, innovations and strategies for safeguarding digital assets.
“iPRES is where the global digital preservation community comes together,” said Sarah Middleton, Chief Community Officer for the DPC. “We are thrilled to support this year’s conference and help amplify voices from across the world.”
The DPC’s sponsorship underscores its mission to ensure resilient, long-term access to digital content and services, regardless of geography, sector, or scale. Through advocacy, training, and resource development, the Coalition continues to empower its diverse membership and advance best practices worldwide.
