In just six weeks, on Thursday 6 November, the global digital preservation community will come together to celebrate World Digital Preservation Day (#WDPD2025)!

This year’s theme, Why Preserve?, invites organisations and individuals to reflect on their motivations for digital preservation and to share them with the wider community.

We would be delighted to highlight your WDPD-activities as part of the celebrations! Whether you are planning a webinar, watch-party, or a creative initiative for World Digital Preservation Day, please let us know so we can include it on the DPC’s Global Events page.
