Hello people of digital preservation!

This September, the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) has a full program of community meetups, specialist groups and practical events, offering lots of opportunities to connect and learn more about current digital preservation practice.

Whether you are looking to make new contacts and chat with peers, develop technical skills or learn more about digital preservation, there is something on the DPC program for you this month. We kicked off September with our first-ever DPC RAM session in Chinese on 3 September, followed later that day by a lively #DPConnect Americas discussion.

Here’s what’s coming up for the rest of the month:

Tuesday 15 September - DPC Americas Allied Organization Session at Fantastic Futures 2026 (FF2026 attendees & DPC Members (virtual) only)
Wednesday 16 September - DPC Reading Club - Designated Community (DPC Members only)
Thursday 17 September - Museums and Galleries Special Interest Group (DPC Members only)
Thursday 17 September - Preservation Registries Collaboration Cafés (open to all)
