CACASG is a collaborative project of the University of Illinois, African archivists, the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC), and Knowledge Management for Development (KM4Dev). The project seeks to foster the preservation of African knowledge and cultural
heritage, developing memory practices that enable local organizations and communities to tell their stories in their own narratives.
In this #DPClinic session, project participants will provide an overview of the work to date, as well as a preview of the self-paced training modules. We will hear from Chris Prom, the Coordinator for Sponsored Research Development and Acting Head of the History,
Philosophy, and Newspaper Library at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
#DPClinic is open to everyone in the digital preservation community - both DPC members and non-members are welcome!
