Hi, all. I'm graduating this semester and making decisions about what's next. 

Does anyone in the group work with/for a news media organization? I'm interested in learning about how digital curation intersects with journalism.

In case you are considering UK [to be honest I am not sure what as a country we have to offer at the moment...] then perhaps check out
BBC, which uses Linked Data for lots of their digital curation for multiple platforms, and has a strong digital team in Salford.

Hi Fendall,

You might find this project interesting: https://biglocalnews.org/

It's an effort led by journalists to aggregate data from local jurisdictions, to curate and share it more broadly so bigger stories may be revealed and reported, as well as archive it with Stanford Libraries where I work. It's pretty cool!
