Open-source OAIS interactive simulator — ISO 14721:2025, PREMIS 3.0, ISO 16363 [free tool]

I would like to share a free, open-source tool that may be of interest to those working in digital preservation and curation:

Digital Preservation Simulator — OAIS Model

It is a self-contained HTML application (no installation, no dependencies) that covers:

— The 6 OAIS functional entities with evaluation criteria and a 0–5 maturity scale (ISO 16363)
— SIP · AIP · DIP information package flow with the 5 mandatory PDI categories
— A real-time ingest simulator with OAIS quality index
— The 4 digital migration strategies with risk levels (ISO 14721:2025 §5)
— SHA-256 fixity verification and real PREMIS 3.0 XML event generation
— A risk matrix of 9 critical preservation risks (ISO 21946)

I developed it primarily as a conceptual learning resource — to help practitioners and institutions translate the OAIS standard into institutional decisions before committing to a full implementation. Feedback and contributions are welcome.
