Hi all,

Just a heads up that we have decided to focus our energy on developing the Digital Citizenship Project teaching modules in one place – Wikieducator.

Here is the link of where we got to yesterday: http://wikieducator.org/Digital_Citizenship (still very much a work in progress)

The thinking behind this is that Wikieducator is a platform that is open and accessible to all. We also want to ensure that as a resource it is able to be self-sustaining in the sense that anyone can add to it and it can evolve without anyone having to be given editing rights etc.

Thanks to Karen Melhuish and Tessa Gray the Enabling elearning: Digital Citizenship group will continue to be an important space supporting this resource and providing a space for sharing, discussions and more. You can view or join the VLN group here: http://www.vln.school.nz/groups/profile/699889/digital-citizenship

Thanks to Mark “wiki-hands” Osbourne, Coralie Stopford, Pete Hall, Esther Casey (National Library), Sean Lyons (NetSafe) who, thanks to Andrew Cowie (NEAL) came together yesterday at the National Library for a bit of a f2f Digital Citizenship working bee!

Thanks also to the many of you who have been contributing and working away at this online, please continue to contribute and/or comment! It is what it is all about!

Also, to those of you in Auckland over the Ulearn period, watch this space for a Digital Citizenship Project celebration!

Cheers

Claire
