How can I get access to our web sites google analytics when a past web site developer set it up and has the access?

I have been trying to see if he can add me as a user, but he is not getting back to me.

I figure I can set up a new account and start over, but I REALLY want to review the history.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, unless the administrator grants you the access you need, you will not have access to the history.

For the lesson, no data is necessary. You will get a feel for the interface though, by following the instructions in the lesson. So go ahead and make a new Google account of your own. Set up a new GA account in this new Google account and proceed with the lesson.
