Hi there,

Do you want to try to see if you can save it first?

You can save your certificate in one of three ways. Option 1 will work for multiple browsers, while Options 2 and 3 will work on Chrome.

Option 1: Printing your certificate

  1. Go to the menu, and choose print page.

  2. On the left side in print options choose the Destination: Save to Google Drive (in Chrome) or Save as PDF (in other browsers).

  3. Choose the Layout as Landscape.

  4. Uncheck the Headers & Footers option.

  5. Click the Save button.

Your Certificate will be saved as a PDF on your Google Drive or on your computer.

Option 2: Screen Capture (by Google)

Install this Chrome application from the link below. After installing, go to your certificate page and click the Screen Capture extension icon in your Chrome browser; you will be able to capture the whole page as an image and crop the image later if required.

Option 3: Awesome Screenshot: Capture & Annotate

Works the same as Option 2.

Hope it works!

A blank screen even if I am trying to save it. When clicked it opens in to a blank page too. Thanks.

Hi All,

If you're getting a blank screen when trying to open the course certificate, can you send over the following details to help us troubleshoot for you?

1. What browser and browser version are you using to access the certificate?
2. What operating system and operating system version are you using?

Thanks in advance for sharing those details.

Cheers,

Christina from the Analytics Academy Course Staff

Hi All,

Apologies for the trouble with the course certificate. We are currently investigating the issue, since it seems to be isolated to Windows XP and Internet Explorer.

In the meantime, if you have access to another browser (e.g. Firefox or Chrome) I would recommend signing into Analytics Academy in that browser and saving or printing your certificate from there.

Please let us know if you are experiencing this issue on other operating systems or in other browsers.

Hi All,

Thank you for your patience as we've looked into this issue.

If you are still having trouble accessing the course certificate on Windows 7 or Windows XP you will need to use one of the following workarounds to access your course certificate:
  1. If you're using Windows 7, you can access the certificate in Internet Explorer 9
  2. If you're using Windows XP, you will need to install a new browser -- we recommend Chrome or Firefox -- to access the certificate
The certificate can be retrieved from the link in your My Profile page.

Please let us know if this doesn't resolve the issue for those who were getting a blank screen previously.

Cheers, and thanks again for your patience!

Hi Christina, had trouble even wiht Chrome, but using win server 2003.
Went the  "print, save as PDF route as earlier suggested, works well BUT hehehe the date is on a second page.

Also has issues wiht win7 and chrome, blank page.
Am looking at the above option for that now, but, hey, about a second certificate for those of us who complete saving the first certificate?
This is the most difficult part of the course, oh, well excluding # 12 which no one in my small group [working separately] can get right.

Hi, again, just a quick follow up.
If people are getting there save as PDF on 2 pages  after following this;

  1. Click the Save button.

    add this between steps 3 & 4

    "set MARGINS to NONE"

Works for me in both win 7 and Win 2003, BUT only using chrome, can't vouch for others
