HI! I want to setup a filter to show me visitors from few but specific countries.

For example, I want to see visitors who are visiting from US, Canada and UK only.

I couldn't find an "easy way" to do that.

Thanks for your help!

Hi Adam,

This help article walks through how to setup something similar. Instead of using an Advanced Custom filter you can just use an Include filter.

Thank you! The second option is an easy way to implement.

I'm wondering if the same can be achieved in a custom
dimension so we don't need to create several (master)
views depending on the types of filters we want to
setup for each view.

Is such thing possible?

Thanks

Hi, I've tried to follow the instructions in the help article. I interpret "Field A: Visitor Geographical Country" as: I should be able to choose "Field A: Visitor Geographical Country" from the dropdown cf. attached. That isn't possible. Please explain.

That didn't work for me either, Rasmus, for the same reason.

I went with the second option though. That might work for us.

Hi all

I have a similar question so i am curious about your feedback on this
I need to isolate separately traffic from USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, NZ, Australia

So i would like to know what is the best way to set up filters
  1. Option 1 -
    1. i use the pre-defined sub folder filer

  2. Option 2
    1. i use the custom country specific you guys mentioned above but in that case, should GA provide us with an accurate listing as a dropdown menu for the 'Filter Pattern' value one should use?
