Hello Everyone!

I am working on the activity for 4.2, and it as asking me to create new properties and views. I am familiar with the All Website Data view. Maybe I missed this in the video, but is this All Website Data view the same as either the Master or the Unfiltered view? If not, what is the difference? Should I just rename the "All Website View" as one of the other views?

Thanks

After creating a new view there is no difference to another until you will make your personal configuration i.e. you will set filters for the view/profile.

That will mean, that after creating the master view, the unfiltered view and the test view they will offer the same view of the data.

In practice you have to set your specific configuration/parameters within a view/profile. After that you will get a different view/sight of your data.

If I understood the lesson correctly, they are three different things.  The unfiltered view is the template that you start out with.  I'm seeing it as the blank slate on which you write the settings that let you find out specifically what you're looking for.  Don't rename it or change it because it is your backup.  In case of emergency, you can go back to it and start over.

The test view is where you can try out changes before you make them permanent.  Your master view is the one that contains all the changes, and it is the one you will ordinarily use.

Am I getting this right?
