Hi Linda,
There are two possible answers here, depending on whether you're asking about a search conducted within your own site, or a search that happens on an external search engine, like Google or Bing. I'll outline both below.
For internal site search (searches within your own site)
The Site Search reports give you data about which pages users start their searches from (Start Page) and which pages they land on after they complete a search within your site (Destination Page). To see the data about where users go after searching on your site, visit the Behavior --> Site Search --> Pages report and click above the table to switch the primary dimension to "Destination Page" instead of "Start Page."
Once in this report, you'll see a list of post-search destination pages for your internal site search engine. If you click into a particular page, you'll see the terms people searched for within your site before landing on the particular destination page. Another way to visualize this data would be to add the
secondary dimension "Search Term" to the "Destination Page" report so that you can see all the Destination Page and Search Term combinations side-by-side.
For visits from an external search engine (e.g. Google.com)
In each of the
Acquisition --> Keywords reports --
Organic or
Paid -- you can add the
secondary dimension of "Landing Page" to the report to see which pages users landed on after conducting a search on an external website. Once you add the secondary dimension to the report you should see a full list of all available Keywords and Landing Page combinations side-by-side.
It is possible to see this data in the Audience --> Visitors Flow report as well by switching the dimension for the report to "Keyword."
If you need further clarification, please let us know.
