Committees are forming

CRPers and volunteers,

There are lots of things happening this semester and we need to be
organized in order to have our events and projects to be constructive
and productive. In the format that CRP meetings are it will be hard
to manage all that is going on productively, so having committees are
going to help. How?....Well if we break up our major events and
projects into Committees people that are in those committees will meet
separately to discuss, plan, initiate those plans. Bringing only your
plans, actions, and results to the CRP meetings, where we share with
everyone.

This method will be efficiency and productivity to our meetings and
develop tasks for volunteers so they can be involved and have
ownership.

The Committees:
Slam Fest
RecycleMania
Donation Dash
May Day and Compost Days
Zero-waste

Things are happening these with CRP.  This week we got we got a ZWE for "Get FUnky with the vote!", tomorrow and if you want to help contact our new Zero-Waste Coordinator, Kalia, kiks...@yahoo.com, I do not know if she found enough people but more the merrier.
9-11am:   Set up                                           2 people needed
11-2pm:  Food-serving and bin monitoring        5 people
2pm-?:   Clean-up                                          2  people

                             

  Clubs Fair is this Wednesday which we are kicking off the annoucement that we are in the Recycle Mania competition!!!


We are having a volunteer recruitment night, "CRP's Chili Night" on Thursday (2/7) in the Nelson Hall at 6 (room is still being figured out).  So please come and /or let everyone you know to come ad get to know CRP and how they can help the program.

There are more things and I will keep you in the loop when they materialize.
