Hi Michael, it's possible, however other things parse that log to get
information, including the direwatch/display driver, hdmi display, etc.
We could optionally sends packets to the SysLog which would include
time stamps.  Lastly, the logs live in precious little memory, so I try
to minimize/rotate them as much as possible.

Hi Craig,

Another thought/suggestion.  I do a lot of POTA activations.  Is it possible to have the digipi update the GPS coordinates and grid square when the power is cycled and a GPS is connected?

Hi Mike, yah, I need to add that where it makes sense.

The APRS Tracker services uses a GPS, as does Pat-Email for position reports, but
I'll need to add some detection logic for other aprs modes to use the GPS or fallback
to the Initialize values.
