Hi Travis,

This is probably my fault, i don't handle special characters ($&#@!) or even spaces
very well in the wifi password.  you  might temporarily change them to something
simple on your router, connect, then edit /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/wlan0.nmconnection
with your home ssid and password.

I'll get this fixed in the next release.

... and let us know please,

Yes, please support special characters in both the SSID Name & Password. Good to know there’s a work around though! 😊

My Pixel phone kills Pi's wifi when on the same desk.  i see the same thing.

Also the Zero2W doesn't support 5G wifi, can you confirm you're using 2.4Ghz wifi at home?

ideally we look at /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/wlan0.nmconnection to confirm
your credentials are properly placed in that file.  Then the two combatants are your wifi
router and linux/Pi.  (you can do this with keyboard/monitor, if you want to confirm, or
ethernet network dongle)

Hi,
I also have/had this problem, I "resolved" the issue after a huge amount of fiddling with router settings and other network tweaks (all to no avail) by just refreshing the connection multiple times!! It seems for my home network, it needs about 10 tries to break through and connect, once connected it stays connected but I cannot reliably connect without doing multiple connects.
Not sure if that is helpful, but did want to add my name to the list of users whose network connections are flaky and what I do to get past the issue. I would like a solution but for now I am OK with my method.
Regards,
Steve-KC0NGU
