Ideas getting aprs chat to work on RX?

I have had Digipi for about a month but so far I can't get it to RX any aprs chat activity.

I have 2 other aprs chat clients and they both work fine both on send and RX. 

But with the digipi, it transmits fine and WXBOT etc does respond, but the digpi never receives it.  I can use aprs.fi and see the replies. 

Last night I tried doing a chat from one of my other clients to digpi. The weird thing is on the pktlog, I could see the replies from my other client coming in yet digipi  itself never sees it. Any ideas what can be wrong?

DigiPi will "see" replies from the internet - they start with  [ig->tx].  Webchat only hears things
coming in on RF.

can you tx a packet with your HT, locally, and see it in PktLog?

Right now no this is my only source of rf but at least that probably explains why I can't see any replies.

Let me see If I can borrow something and test.

I have the same issue. If I send a message from a handheld (my wife's with her call) to me, I see it immediately in the packet log. For it to appear in Web Chat it has to be sent to WA4BAN (my call) and not to WA4BAN-2 which is how it appears on the APRS maps when I send my position. If I send my zip code to WXBOT I see the outgoing packet, but never get anything back.

also make sure you send a beacon from webchat first, so the system knows
which transmitters to use for the reply.

I Put the Pin Point APRS app on a laptop and connect to digipi via my network. Now I receive all the things I was not receiving with just the Web Chat app in Digipi. However, this is getting away from the original concept of digipi as being a self contained package.
