Thanks so much to Scott and others who have offered suggestions on getting my Digipi Winlink Server working. I should add that everything else in the software works fine.

After trying many suggestions including settings, beefing up RF protection, external antennas and different radios, I still have the same problem again and again. The session begins, continues for a bit normally, then abruptly stops, not always in the same place.

Attaching some session and packet screen shots. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the additional details.

Are these two digipi's?  client being driven by RadioMail on IOS? The client
digipi is in TNC mode or AX.25 mode?  (I don't have radiomail here).

It might be helpful to see the PktLog on the client digipi.

This looks a bit like the ax.25 protocol failure we've seen recently.

I've also seen it hang on the same email over and over,
deleting/receiving the email clears it.

In the end, both client and server are indicating "RR" Ready-to-Receive,
so they're
waiting on each other.  The client eventually DISConnects and the server
obliges (UA)

and just to be sure, have you Started Linux Node AX.25, then used Pat email
on the client and see if that works?  it can be tricky with two nodes
using the
same callsign (they route through loopback).  We've had to change one side
to a tactical callsign.

Just one Digipi. All of the screenshots are using Radiomail on IOS, using its internal packet modem. Tried Winlink Express on Windows 10 and the Digipi doesnt even hear it.

Yes, AX-25 with PAT works great, wirelessly from either iphone or ipad.
