- APRS traffic decoding with the QTH app - 3 Updates
Ted Pater <tno...@gmail.com>: Jan 04 04:34PM -0800
Hi guys,
I came across very interesting app for decoding the APRS traffic from my digipi. The app is well developed by W8WJB since 2021.
It can run in the freemium mode to receive APRS traffic. The license is required for the transmit. It works only on the macOS platform.
I tested the app on MacMini M1 but it also run on the old 2011 MacBook Air laptop /High Sierra/ which I plan for the field activities since I can control the digipi as well.

Great find!
I'll give that a try for sure, as I'm still a Mac-learner.
for what it's worth DigiPi's kiss port is 8001, and agwpe port is 8000
(the former should work with the QTH app), bluetooth too.
cool,

Hi Craig,
The setup for the digipi is simple, just select KISS TCP/IP TNC during the wizard setup, and the digipi.local at 8001 will be found automatically,if it is running.

The decoding features are very cool, for example are the NG7N weather station data displayed in the nice graphic format. The packet log is running in the background.
