I have been running 2.2 Beta 5 since it was released.  I am running it on a Pi 4B+ with the Pi 7" touch screen, running it as a Winlink gateway.  I have the Pi connected to my radio (Yaesu FT-8800) via a Masters Communications DRA-Pi and an 8 pin cable.

A couple observations or suggestions.  Would it be possible to add a time stamp to the packet log?  I enjoy the functionality of seeing the packet traffic and which stations I am able to hear.  It would be helpful to see when the traffic is heard, and when my station beacons

The second suggestion, I am running the Pi 7" touchscreen, which is connected to the pi on the DSI port.  The display shows "Digipi version 2.2 Beta5"  When I was running an earlier version on a Pi Zero 2W and a small Oled screen, it would show when a data packet was received and the transmit status, along with the stations it was hearing.  Would it be possible to move that over to the larger screen?  Maybe have a configuration where we could select what was displayed on the larger screen?

Overall I am very happy with the performance of DigiPi.  It is a nice compact Winlink Gateway.

Thanks,
Terry

Hi Terry,

Thanks for the ideas!

I don't fully understand what you're after however.

the DSI screen should work just like the TFT screens, displaying the
same information (with 2.2-beta5).  HDMI screens work just like the
TFT screens also.  If you use DSI *AND* HDMI, the scaling will be
incorrect on the DSI screen (they share the same framebuffer),
so it's one or the other.

Make sure you select DSI xor HDMI when Initializing.

Only one screen is "officially" supported at a time.  It's mostly a
cpu/scaling/bandwidth thing.

cool,
