map symbol

I have toggled between igate and digipeater modes and currently want to use digipeater. The aprs map does not now recognize the digipeater setting. I'm seeing packets but my beacon is not showing up. The last map activity is from yesterday when I switched to digipeater mode and has a black R symbol. Any advice to sort this out?

Hi Andrew,

APRS TNC reports position via the internet
APRS Digipeater reports position via RF

Something nearby will need to hear your Digipeater beacon for it to show up.

you can change the PBEACON line in direwolf.digipeater.conf and add "sendto=IG"
to have the Digipeater beacon via internet like the TNC... if you want.
