Spending the whole day trying to get the Winlink Email Server to work with no joy. I am in troubleshooting hell, but let’s start with something simple: the Digipi Winlink Server is beaconing as expected on start up. It is not answering at all when attempts are made. But what it is doing is beaconing the wrong frequency. I am using 145.050 but when I update Winlink Express lists or look at the Winlink map it is listed as 145.730. Just for laughs I attempted contact on that frequency and also no response. I am trying all of this on both Winlink Express with sound modem and radiomail, with a digirig lite.

Hi Don,

You could/should edit your winlink server details/frequency at

click Shell
password: raspberry
sudo remount
sudo nano /etc/rmsgw/channels.xml
sudo nano /etc/rmsgw/sysop.xml

Lastly DigiRig "Lite" is unsupported on Raspberry Pi, and therefore also unsupported on DigiPi (get the "mobile" if you can).
