I've been experimenting with the Audio settings on my DigiPi running in Digipeater mode.  I appears that the Capture audio is set as a combination of the volume control on my radio, the actual volume of audio that would be coming from my radio's speaker, and the "capture/audio in" setting on my AICO, which I can control via the Audio settings on the DigiPi.  I have the AIOC Audio Out set to 0, and everything appears to be working correctly.  Am I understanding this correctly?  Meaning, in this APRS Digipeater mode, I only need to adjust the radio's volume and the AICO's Capture level, and I'm good to go?

Good question - I like to set the capture volume (press F4) to about 85, then adjust the physical knob on the radio
until the "audio level" reported in PktLog on received packets is about 50 (x,y).

As far as transmit (playback) volume goes, I like to find another radio and listen to your packet and
other packets, get them to be about the same volume by adjusting playback volume under Audio.
If your rig has "mic gain" you can mess with that as well.

if it helps,
