(tr) usdx Compatiblity?

I was hoping a (tru)uSDX expert would answer this, but looking at the specs, I don't see why
it wouldn't work with wsjtx on DigiPi.  It looks like a USB audio device, so receiving
should be a no-brainer, the question is cat-control, how do you engage ptt on this device?

It's an unusual animal in that it doesn't modulate, it simply looks for your "audio tone" and
emits a sine wave on the appropriate frequency.  kinda tricky and neat.   only ft8, js8
will work with this right?

From that description, it sounds like the same thing that the QRP Labs QDX radio does. With that, yes, you are limited to "single tone" modes, which does include FT8 and JS8, but also WSPR, JT65, RTTY, Olivia, and others.

Has anyone gotten this to work? Craig, in the patreon someone mentioned the single USB cable/audio over USB was implemented for the (tr)usdx on DigiPi (current version 2.01). Is this true?

I've been trying to get the (tr)usdx to work with a digipi for a few weeks with no luck. i have a digirig and appropriate cables, a good usb-A to micro-USB cable, and no  matter what config i try i can't get the audio to come over the digirig and maintain get PTT to function. i even selected 2055 as the rig number when intitalizing. any ideas?
