I have a digipi hat from elekitsorparts attached to a Raspberry Pi 4.  I set up a cable to a Yaesu VX-2R (the mic audio and PTT share the same line, so there is a capactor and resistor in the circuit as per Yaseu VX2r manual to make a PTT line and mic line).  It all boots up OK, but I have no communication between radio and Pi.  Are there anyother configuration files that I need to make changes to?  Do I need to make new specification in Direwolf to use the digipi hat as the audio source?

i made that cable for my yaesu ft1DR, however, i never tried it on the digipi hat.

ultimately, the digipi-hat grounds the PTT line.  if the cable is properly fabricated and
connected, this should key the Yaesu.

Make sure your rig number is "DTR" -- yah, they're letters, but that tells the direwolf
to apply the DTR signal to the digipi hat serial port which grounds out the ptt wire in turn.

I set the rig # to "DTR" and that fixed the receive part.  APRS signals are being decoded and displayed.  However, I still cannot get the transmit to function on the VX-2R.  I switched to a FT-1500M radio and using a cable that connects to the radio's din-6 data port (using a cable from Signalink), verifying continuity from the DigiPi Hat's DB9 connector to the radio's mini-din connector for each line (PTT, data-in, data out, ground).  I receive packets fine, but still cannot get the transmit to function.  I checked the /run/direwolf.tnc.conf file and it does have PTT as /dev/ttyACM0 DTR.  Is there another setting I should check?

The DigiPi Hat should use

rignumber:   DTR
devicefile:   ttyUSB0
baud:   115200   (though, it doesn't matter)

In your case, I see you're using ttyACM0, not ttyUSB0.  This would explain your observations.
