Extra Null in a WebChat message

My WebChat is not working.

I went to aprs.fi to look at the raw packets being received and found this:

2026-04-19 21:04:00 EDT: K1PLH-5>APZ100,WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1,qAO,WA1VIN::REPEAT   :n3<0x00>3855 [Invalid message packet]
2026-04-19 21:04:01 EDT: K1PLH-5>APZ100,WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1,qAR,KC1VSR-10::REPEAT   :n3{3855

It looks like a null character <0x00> is being appended on to the message.

Is that the Problem?

How do I get rid of it?

Hard to say - you might ask WA1VIN why his igate is corrupting packets?

You can see the packet was properly received by KC1VSR-10.
