Running the latest version of DigiPi with my IC-7300 but keep getting this error when I test CAT. What am I doing wrong?

Looks like you have not configured JS8 call correctly.  The default is for a IC705 which uses ACM0 USB port.  You need to choose the IC-7300 which is most likely on USB0.  WSJTX has a similar setup.

Look under File - Settings - Radio - CAT control.  You can test the connection from there too.

Seems you were correct.  I thought I had changed it, but maybe not.  Also, baud rate was off from the 7300, so that may have been the issue.  CAT and PTT are now working but I lost all audio somehow in the change and I had it before.  I have all audio settings on "default" so is that correct?

If you click on the Audio name on the digipi home page it will open up Alsamixer.  From there (F6) you can see what audio card is available and which is default.  Failing that, a restart on everything should sort it out.  Remember to exit JS8 call and Save Configuration otherwise all your changes will be lost.

The newest version of JS8Call has some issues -- try setting the audio device to
"plughw..." click OK, then set it back to "default".  suddenly it starts receiving audio,
at least in my experience.

Clicking SysInfo should show you detected audio devices as well.

.. and, yes, press [save configuration] on the digipi home page after making any
changes to apps/configurations.

best,
