i cant get my radio to tx, it rx fine, i have tried 2 different radios and different cables. what am i missing? thaanks, Kelly

Hi Kelly,

What radio?  what interface?

Can you start "APRS Digipeater", wait exactly 8 seconds and see if it goes into transmit for a moment?

ok, yaesu - and how do you connect the Yaesu to the DigiPi?  Digirig Mobile?  other?


A very basic transmit test is to use these direwolf switches to test ptt engagement.

Start then stop APRS TNC/igate, then run in the Shell (password = raspberry);

direwolf -c /run/direwolf.tnc.conf  -x p

Followed by Ctrl-C
