Hi
I have been working with Digipi for some time with a R Pi Zero 2W. For a variety of reasons I want to use a Pi 5.
I lloaded the current release of Digipi onto a SD card and booted the Pi 5. I do not see a DIGPI  SSID.!

I know the Pi 5 supports wi fi so I am perplexed. Is there something simple that I am missing?

I hate asking silly questions.

Right, 5G is the big difference.

fwiw, I published build two of DigiPi 2.1 today, so I wanted to make sure and
tested it myself on a Pi5.  I know it doesn't help your situation but the DigiPi wifi
hotspot appeared on my old Pixel 3 phone on first boot.

Also remove other wifi devices from the room if you can, I notice quite a bit
of interference when I have my tablet/phone nearby.  The Pi wifi antennae
aren't the best (pcb-cavity).

best,

Hello

I am simply looking at available networks on both my mac and windows pcs. They are next to the pi 5 so distance is not an issue.

I will look for build #2 and load it in the am.

Thanks I feel like a moron.

Hi guys,

build two shouldn't make a difference, really, it's just a Pat upgrade.

My concern isn't the distance, but rather the interference of a nearby
phone/tablet/wifi device.   I have a phone that can't be in the same
room, or I see what you're seeing.

What kind of case is the pi in if any. I have a metal case that kills the pi’s WiFi so I use Ethernet on the device.

I too have a metal case and a nvme hat on top of the pi that kills my wifi,  I just use and external USB WiFi adapter...
