Greetings,

I set up my winlink gateway today. Seems to be working fine.  Connect to it using WOAD and a Mobilink TNC3.  I connect to digipi, says it sent message- but no e-mail actually goes out and it does not download anything that is in the winlink inbox.  I have digipi connected to ethernet running into signalink and a 10W HT.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

are you an official winlink sysop?  you'll need to apply at winlink.org.

i'm guessing it fails silently otherwise, as you described?

I did contact winlink about 2 weeks ago and they gave me the go ahead to start a gateway. I will reach out to them and see if there is an issue.

Thank you,
Joseph

You have been approved for gateway access.

I thought maybe the problem was that I was using version 1.9.2 but all of my efforts to upgrade to 1.9.3-.4. and 2.0.1 all leave me unable to connect to the hotspot to initialize.  I put in password"abcdefghij" and it thinks a bit and disconnects.  Put vs 1.9.2 back on and it runs fine.  This is with a pi3 and pi4.  I do understand that the newer versions will not run on pi3 but it is giving me the same problem on my pi4.  Maybe the fact that it is version 1.9.2 is not a problem?
