Hello,

I am using digipi-2.1-1 on WSJT-X ft8, and it appears that there is a time sync issue.  I receive very few stations, and they all have a "dt" of +0.7 to +0.8.

I successfully used WSJT-x on ft8 with the previous version of digipi.

My digipi is connected to the internet, however my primary interest is using the digipi out in the field so I have also tried connecting a GPS dongle.  The time sync appears to be off in spite of being connected to the internet or GPS dongle.

I would appreciate any suggestions to resolve this issue.

Thanks!

I verified that the digipi system clock is synchronized to the NTP service as shown below:

I am monitoring 14.074 MHz, but decode very few stations that all have relatively large "dt".  In the past I have always decoded large numbers of stations and the "dt" values were small +/- values.

I would appreciate any suggestions for things I can check or change that may help resolve this issue.

Thanks!

Please see the attached video.  I have decoded 3 stations in approx 15 min.

Below are screen captures showing the WSJT-x settings used with Yaesu FT-891

Hey badukp,

0.2 isn't awful, 0.4 is pushing it.  DigiPi gets time from chronyd via the internet
and debian time servers.  there aren't a lot of changes you can make there and
I've never seen it fail.  Absent internet, digipi will get time from a GPS.

I'm more concerned you have noise reduction, notch or blank filters engaged
on your rig?

curiously,
