Job Description

Looking for a leader to build next generation Citrix Cloud API Platform, which will enable customers and partners to extend Citrix Cloud Services. New API Platform will provide a mechanism for developers all around the world to build solutions as per their customer or partner’s needs.

 

Senior Manager Engineering – API Platform

 

Technically strong leader with people skills, will build a brand-new team, plan and execute project from ground up. Leading a team of high performing engineers and guiding team on technical and project related areas. Creating and driving Project and Sprint plans and takes care of people management.

 

Responsibilities:-

 

  • Have ability to lead high performing engineers and drive innovation
  • Drive technical discussions with Architect, PM, Design, Engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Takes care of Project and Sprint plans, comes up with estimates for project planning.
  • Take care of customer user cases and drive to get fixes for customers.
  • Makes sure team delivers high quality product as well as Automation and processes.
  • Communicates with stakeholders outside the team and gets consensus on project plans
  • Helps team in making right decisions and clears road blocks.

 

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

 

  • Built a team of high performing engineers and lead service deliverables.
  • Prior experience in working/extending API Management solution is a big plus
  • Experience in building and deploying Cloud Services hosted on public or private Cloud.
  • Passionate to innovate and work on cutting edge technologies.
  • Agile based development experience is a must.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience on software development and 3+ years of people management.
  • BE/BS/MS in CS or equivalent with years of proven design and development skills in Enterprise systems or application development
