Hi to all members/subscribers,
i have finally bought a powerfab 125, its in a usable condition but needs work to keep it going!!!! I recon it must be quite a early model and rather basic but i`am sure once i get more practice i will be able to pull me self along without to much trouble. I live in the Bristol area and wondered if anyone else has a 125 that has bought any parts locally if not postal spares are good, at the moment i need to check/ service the Honda engine and hydraulics the details on the engine are Q***  GX140-1000860 and the digger serial number is 125 342.
The engine is running a bit rough so i shall change the spark plug, engine oil, clean out the fuel tank of dirt and check/change any filters ? etc any suggestions on service or further links to Honda engine info would be a great help.
Thanks again Martin.

Hello Martin, et alia

My

  [Driver NOT supplied]

has a Honda Engine on it - it starts 1st pull, except when it don't - then I put in a new plug - and it starts 1st pull until it don't again.
Plugs - when I were now' bu'r a lad, uz us't clean 'em wee a wire brwsh, blow on 'em, set t'  gap. small spot of oil, nd screw back.
Is this still allowed? Or will bits o' wire get in t' engine, and B****r the Bore 'appen?

Hi Martin

If the engine is running a bit rough, the chances are that the carburettor is gummed up.

I'd recommend that you put some carburettor cleaner into the bowl and leave it to soak everything for an hour, then start the engine with fresh petrol and carb cleaner mix about 25:1 (about 200 ml petrol to 8-10 ml carb cleaner) in the cleaned out petrol tank.

This usually works wonders

Hi to all member and tom, i ordered spares from a on line site and will let you know how that goes the only problem i seem to have is  obtaining the replacement hydraulic oil filter, the one i took out was made by ostiglia  (fbo) model f10A 35/3 but my local filter company cannot find any reference to it? does anybody know were i might get a filter?
thanks martin.

I had a similar issue and sorted it by installing an in-line canister filter on the return line to tank.
